Notify Customers When Orders are Removed From an Active Route

How it Works: 

  • A new email and/or text notification can now be sent when an order is removed from an active route via the Dispatch Manager or from the EXTRA Driver application. 
  • An email and/or text will be sent to both the source and destination of the order as long as their email or phone number is opted in. 
  • If desired, the option to include the “Skip Reason” within the notification is also available. The skip reason will include the reason chosen by the driver or dispatcher and the additional description (if provided). 
  • Please contact Elite EXTRA at or (888) 484-8729, opt 3 to enable this feature for your site.  


This new feature allows your organization to effectively communicate with your customers and internal staff through email and text notifications if delivery plans change. The messaging is customizable and can be enabled for specific customers, all customers, and internal staff.
