How it Works:
Order Templates is a relatively new feature that allows users to generate barcodes that can be scanned on the dispatch screen to quickly generate an order for a frequently visited stop. Drivers and technicians can now use this feature when building routes through the EXTRA Driver app.
First, create an order template. For step-by-step instructions, search for “order template” in the Elite EXTRA user manual. Once the barcode is generated, print and store it in an easy to access area. As drivers use the “build route” feature in EXTRA Driver, they can scan this barcode as they would any other order to add this frequently visited stop to the route.
Benefits:
Order templates allow users to quickly recreate frequent delivery and pickup orders as needed. This feature saves time, as it eliminates the need to create the order each time it is needed in the Order Grid. It also provides users additional flexibility, as the barcode can be scanned at any time to generate the order instead of having to schedule it to populate at a specified time as a recurring stop.
